Strepsils Plus Lozenges are a dual-action medication that helps to relieve the symptoms of a sore throat. They contain a local anaesthetic to numb the throat, as well as two antibacterial agents to help kill the bacteria that can cause sore throats and mouth infections.

Specifications

Each Strepsils Plus Lozenge contains:

• Lignocaine hydrochloride monohydrate 10mg
• Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg
• Amylmetacresol 600µg

Strepsils Plus Lozenges are available in a pack of 16.

Usage

Dissolve one Strepsils Plus Lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 lozenges in any 24-hour period.

Contraindications

Strepsils Plus Lozenges should not be used if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. They should also not be used if you have a severe sore throat or mouth infection, or if you have difficulty swallowing.
