Description:
Difflam Plus Lozenges are a type of medicated lozenge that contains an anti-inflammatory agent (benzydamine hydrochloride) and a local anaesthetic (lignocaine hydrochloride). These lozenges are formulated to provide relief from sore throat, mouth, and gums, as well as provide relief from the discomfort and pain associated with mouth ulcers, soreness, and swelling.

Indications:
Difflam Plus Lozenges are used to provide relief from a sore throat, mouth ulcers, soreness, and swelling. They can be used to relieve the symptoms of mouth or gum surgery, radiation treatment, or chemotherapy. These lozenges may also help to relieve the pain and discomfort caused by tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, and other upper respiratory tract infections.

Ingredients:
Each lozenge contains 3mg of benzydamine hydrochloride and 1.5mg of lignocaine hydrochloride as active ingredients. The other ingredients include saccharin sodium, sucrose, glucose, and propylene glycol.

Contraindications:
The use of Difflam Plus Lozenges is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in the formulation. These lozenges are not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age.

Warnings and Precautions:
– These lozenges are for oral use only.
– Do not exceed the recommended dose.
– Avoid eating or drinking for at least 15 minutes after using the lozenges.
– Discontinue use and consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after three days.
– If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medication.
– Do not use this medication if you have a history of allergy to local anaesthetics.
