Description

Product: Lactogen 1 Infant Formula 350g

Description:
Lactogen 1 Infant Formula is a specially formulated milk powder designed to provide complete nutrition for infants up to 6 months of age. It is carefully manufactured to resemble the composition and consistency of breast milk, providing essential nutrients necessary for healthy growth and development.

Restrictions:
Lactogen 1 Infant Formula is intended for use only in infants up to 6 months of age. It should not be given to premature infants or infants with a known milk protein allergy or lactose intolerance, unless otherwise advised by a healthcare professional.

Indications:
Lactogen 1 Infant Formula is indicated as a breast milk substitute when breastfeeding is not possible or insufficient. It is suitable for infants from birth up to 6 months of age, providing essential nutrients such as proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and prebiotics.

Warnings:
1. Breast milk is the best source of nutrition for infants. Before using any infant formula, consult with a healthcare professional or a pediatrician.
2. Proper hygiene and preparation techniques are essential when preparing infant formula to minimize the risk of contamination. Incorrect handling or preparation may lead to illness or growth problems in infants.
3. Do not use microwave ovens to heat formula, as it may result in uneven heating and cause burns.
4. It is important to follow the recommended dosage and not exceed the prescribed amount of Lactogen 1 Infant Formula.

Precautions:
1. Lactogen 1 Infant Formula should not be used as a sole source of nutrition after 6 months of age, as it may not meet the changing nutritional needs of older infants.
2. If your baby has any medical conditions or special dietary requirements, consult with a healthcare professional before using Lactogen 1 Infant Formula.
3. Carefully read the instructions and follow them exactly to ensure proper preparation and feeding.

Directions:
1. Wash hands thoroughly before preparing the formula.
2. Sterilize all feeding equipment by boiling in water or using a sterilizer.
3. Boil fresh water and allow it to cool to around 40°C (104°F).
4. Pour the required amount of cooled water into a sterilized feeding bottle.
5. Use the scoop provided with the formula and level it off with a clean, dry knife.
6. Add the prescribed number of scoops of Lactogen 1 Infant Formula powder to the bottle.
7. Close the bottle and shake well until the powder is completely dissolved.
8. Test the temperature of the formula on the inside of your wrist before feeding. It should be lukewarm, not hot.
9. Feed the prepared formula immediately after preparation and discard any leftover formula after one hour.

Contradictions:
Lactogen 1 Infant Formula should not be used if your infant:
1. Has a known milk protein allergy or lactose intolerance.
2. Has been diagnosed with galactosemia (a rare metabolic disorder).
3. Is a premature infant.

Usage:
Lactogen 1 Infant Formula is intended to be used as a substitute for breast milk when breastfeeding is not possible or insufficient. It provides essential nutrition for infants up to 6 months of age. Always consult with a healthcare professional or a pediatrician before starting or changing infant formula.
