Melolin 10cm x 10cm (100) is a sterile, non-adherent, absorbent dressing made of a cotton and acrylic fiber pad bonded to a thin perforated film. It is used to protect and manage wounds that are lightly to moderately exuding. Melolin is also used to cushion and protect wounds from further injury.

Usage

Melolin 10cm x 10cm (100) is used to dress wounds that are lightly to moderately exuding. It can be used to cover a variety of wounds, including:

• Cuts
• Abrasions
• Lacerations
• Burns
• Stitches

To use Melolin, simply cleanse the wound with soap and water or a wound cleanser. Apply the Melolin dressing to the wound, making sure that it covers the entire wound area. Secure the dressing in place with tape or bandages.

Contraindications

Melolin 10cm x 10cm (100) should not be used on:

• Deep or infected wounds
• Burns that cover a large area of the body
• Patients with allergies to cotton or acrylic

Warnings
