Miconazole Cream 15g is a topical antifungal cream used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm, and tinea versicolor. It is also effective against candidiasis, a yeast infection of the skin. Miconazole cream works by killing the fungus that causes the infection.
Specifications
- Active ingredient: Miconazole nitrate 2%
- Other ingredients: Purified water, liquid paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, stearic acid, cetomacrogol, simethicone, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, and chlorocresol

Usage
- Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly.
- Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area and rub it in gently.
- Apply the cream twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.
- Continue treatment for 2-4 weeks, or until the infection is gone.
- If the infection does not improve after 4 weeks, see your doctor.
Contraindications
- Do not use miconazole cream if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
- Do not use miconazole cream on open wounds or cuts.
- Do not use miconazole cream on the eyes or mouth.
Indications
- Miconazole cream is indicated for the treatment of the following fungal skin infections:
- Tinea corporis (ringworm)
- Tinea cruris (jock itch)
- Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
- Tinea versicolor
- Candidiasis
Warnings
- Miconazole cream may cause mild skin irritation, such as redness, itching, or burning. If these side effects are severe, stop using the cream and see your doctor.
- Miconazole cream is not for use by children under 2 years of age.
- Keep miconazole cream out of the reach of children.
- Do not use miconazole cream after the expiration date.
Restrictions
- Miconazole cream is not a cure for fungal skin infections. It will only treat the infection while you are using it.
- If you have a weakened immune system, you may need to use miconazole cream for a longer period of time.
