Usage
SILVIRSULF CREAM 15G is applied to the burn wound twice daily. It should be applied evenly to a thickness of 1/4 to 1/2 inch. The cream should be covered with a sterile dressing.
Contraindications
SILVIRSULF CREAM 15G is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to silver sulfadiazine or sulfonamides.
Indications
SILVIRSULF CREAM 15G is indicated for the prevention and treatment of wound sepsis in patients with second- and third-degree burns.
Warnings
- SILVIRSULF CREAM 15G can cause local irritation, such as redness, itching, and swelling.
- SILVIRSULF CREAM 15G can also cause systemic side effects, such as bone marrow suppression, hemolysis, and Stevens-Johnson syndrome.
- SILVIRSULF CREAM 15G should not be used in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
Restrictions
- SILVIRSULF CREAM 15G should not be used in patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- SILVIRSULF CREAM 15G should not be used in children under the age of 2 years.
Storage
SILVIRSULF CREAM 15G should be stored at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius.

Unused SILVIRSULF CREAM 15G should be discarded in accordance with local regulations.
