It contains two antibacterial agents, Dichlorobenzyl alcohol and Amylmetacresol, which help to kill the bacteria that can cause sore throats. Strepsils Lozenges Orange also contains a mild anesthetic that helps to numb the pain of a sore throat.
Specifications
Each lozenge contains:
- Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg
- Amylmetacresol 600 µg
- Sucrose and glucose
Usage
Adults and children over 6 years: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours as required. Do not exceed 12 lozenges in 24 hours.
Contradictions
Strepsils Lozenges Orange should not be used by people who are allergic to any of its ingredients.
Indications
Strepsils Lozenges Orange is indicated for the symptomatic relief of sore throats caused by infection.
Warnings
Strepsils Lozenges Orange should not be used for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor. If your symptoms do not improve after 7 days, or if they get worse, you should see a doctor.
Strepsils Lozenges Orange should not be used by children under 6 years of age.
Strepsils Lozenges Orange should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women without consulting a doctor.
