Product Description:

SUDAFED PE NASAL DECONG 24 TAB is a non-drowsy nasal decongestant that temporarily relieves sinus pressure and nasal congestion due to the common cold, hay fever, or other upper respiratory allergies. It contains 10 mg of phenylephrine HCl, a decongestant that works by reducing the swelling of blood vessels in the nasal passages. This allows the passages to open up and make it easier to breathe.

Specifications:

Each tablet contains:

  • 10 mg of phenylephrine HCl
  • Inactive ingredients: cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, lactose, magnesium stearate, and microcrystalline cellulose

Usage:

  • Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1 tablet by mouth every 4 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
  • Children under 12 years of age: Do not use.

Contraindications:

  • Do not use if you are allergic to phenylephrine HCl or any of the inactive ingredients.
  • Do not use if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid problems, diabetes, or an enlarged prostate.
  • Do not use if you are taking MAO inhibitors (certain antidepressants).

Indications:

SUDAFED PE NASAL DECONG 24 TAB is used to temporarily relieve sinus pressure and nasal congestion due to the common cold, hay fever, or other upper respiratory allergies.

Warnings:

  • This product may cause drowsiness. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do other hazardous activities until you know how this product affects you.
  • This product may increase your heart rate. If you have heart problems, talk to your doctor before using this product.
  • This product may worsen high blood pressure. If you have high blood pressure, talk to your doctor before using this product.
  • This product may cause anxiety or nervousness. If you have anxiety or nervousness, talk to your doctor before using this product.
  • This product may cause trouble sleeping. If you have trouble sleeping, talk to your doctor before using this product.

Restrictions:

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not use this product if the seal is broken or missing.
  • Store at room temperature.
