Product Description
Woodward’s Gripe Water is a traditional remedy for the relief of wind and gripe in babies and infants. It is a clear, sugar-free and alcohol-free liquid that contains two active ingredients:
- Terpeneless dill seed oil, which warms and relaxes the stomach, breaking down trapped air bubbles.
- Sodium bicarbonate, which neutralizes acid in the stomach.
Woodward’s Gripe Water is suitable for babies from 1 month old. It should be given during or after feeds, or up to 4 times in 24 hours.

Usage
- Shake well before use.
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
- Give 1 teaspoonful (5ml) to babies from 1 to 6 months old.
- Give 2 teaspoonfuls (10ml) to babies from 6 months to 1 year old.
- Give 2 to 3 teaspoonfuls (10-15ml) to children over 1 year old.
- Give the dose during or after feeds, or up to 4 times in 24 hours.
Contradictions
- Do not give to babies under 1 month old.
- Do not give if your baby is allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Do not give if your baby has kidney problems.
Indications
Woodward’s Gripe Water is indicated for the relief of wind and gripe in babies and infants.
Warnings
- This product is not a cure for colic.
- If your baby’s symptoms do not improve after 7 days, or if they get worse, stop using this product and consult your doctor.
- This product contains sodium. If you are on a salt-restricted diet, consult your doctor before using this product.
Restrictions
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Do not use if the seal is broken.
