Restrictions:
Lactogen 2 Infant Formula should only be used for infants between 6-12 months of age. It is not suitable for premature infants or those with severe allergies or sensitivities to milk proteins. This product is intended for use as a breast milk substitute only when necessary and under the guidance of a healthcare professional.

Indications:
Lactogen 2 Infant Formula is indicated for infants who are transitioning from exclusive breastfeeding or for those who require a supplementary feeding option. It provides the necessary nutrients to support their growth and development during this crucial stage.

Warnings:
1. Breast milk is the best source of nutrition for infants. Before using Lactogen 2, consider the advice of a healthcare professional.
2. Do not use Lactogen 2 if your infant has a known allergy to cow’s milk or any of the ingredients listed on the packaging.
3. Improper preparation or storage of the formula may pose a risk to your infant’s health. Follow the instructions carefully.
4. Never use a microwave to warm the formula, as it can cause uneven heating and lead to burns.

Precautions:
1. Lactogen 2 should not be used as a sole source of nutrition. It is meant to supplement a varied and balanced diet.
2. If your infant has any underlying health conditions or special dietary needs, consult with a healthcare professional before using Lactogen 2.
3. Sterilize all feeding equipment before use to ensure the formula remains uncontaminated.
4. Proper hygiene practices should be followed during preparation, feeding, and storage of the formula to minimize the risk of infection.

Directions for Preparation:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing the formula.
2. Sterilize bottles, nipples, and other utensils by boiling them in water for 5 minutes or using a sterilizer.
3. Boil fresh drinking water for 5 minutes and allow it to cool to about 40°C (104°F).
4. Pour the required amount of cooled water into the sterilized bottle.
5. Add the appropriate number of level scoops of Lactogen 2 Infant Formula to the bottle according to the instructions on the packaging.
6. Cap the bottle and shake it well until the powder is completely dissolved.
7. Test the temperature of the formula on your wrist before feeding. It should be lukewarm, not hot.
8. Feed the prepared formula to your infant immediately after preparation. Discard any unused formula after one hour.

Contradictions:
Lactogen 2 Infant Formula should not be used if your infant:
1. Has a confirmed allergy to cow’s milk or any of the ingredients in the formula.
2. Has galactosemia or any other metabolic disorder.

Usage:
Lactogen 2 Infant Formula is intended for oral consumption only. It should be used as directed and under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Regular check-ups with a pediatrician are recommended to monitor your infant’s growth and development.
