Product Description:
Dimetapp 12 Hour Nasal Spray is a decongestant nasal spray used to provide relief from nasal congestion and sinus pressure due to allergies or the common cold. It is a clear, colorless solution that comes in a 20mL bottle with a metered-dose pump spray.

Ingredients:
The active ingredient in Dimetapp 12 Hour Nasal Spray is Oxymetazoline hydrochloride (0.05% w/v). Other ingredients include benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, and purified water.

Indications:
Dimetapp 12 Hour Nasal Spray is indicated for the relief of nasal congestion and sinus pressure due to allergic rhinitis (hay fever), common cold, sinusitis, and other upper respiratory allergies. It works by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion.

Contradictions:
Dimetapp 12 Hour Nasal Spray should not be used in individuals with a hypersensitivity or allergy to any of its ingredients. It is also contraindicated in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, severe hypertension, severe coronary artery disease, or hyperthyroidism. It should not be used in children under 12 years of age, unless directed by a doctor.
